Telugu star Jr NTR's latest film, Devara: Part 1, continues its steady performance at the box office, holding its ground as it heads toward a promising second weekend. According to producers, the film has grossed over Rs 396 crore worldwide within six days of its release. However, some trade sources offer a more conservative estimate, placing the global earnings just above Rs 300 crore, highlighting a significant gap between the two figures.

Despite these discrepancies, there is no doubt that Devara has made an impact at the box office, particularly in Telugu-speaking states and the Hindi belt. In North India, the film has garnered over Rs 45 crore, and based on current trends, it is expected to cross the Rs 50 crore mark by the end of its second weekend.

In the Telugu states, Devara has shown strong regional dominance. Reports suggest that the film has already recovered 94% of its initial investments in major markets like Nizam. AndhraBoxOffice.com tweeted, "#Devara Nizam ends 1st week on a Decent note with DAY 7 earning a SHARE of ₹1.02 Cr on 3rd Oct! Total 'SHARE' ₹42.48 Cr Excludes GST. 94% Recovery done in 1st Week!"

Directed by Koratala Siva, Devara delves into the struggles of ancient warrior tribes, showcasing Jr NTR in a powerful role. The film also features Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in key roles. With a solid fan base and momentum building, the movie is set for an even stronger performance in its second weekend.

Devara had opened to mixed reviews from critics and audiences alike, but that hasn’t deterred its box office success. The film has capitalized on Jr NTR's mass appeal, particularly following his North Indian breakthrough with RRR.

The coming weeks will determine how far Devara can extend its box office reign.
