Cirkus teaser takes us back to the 1960s, reveals Ranveer Singh is not the only one with a double role; watch

Every time Rohit Shetty makes a movie, he takes us to a new land which is not all that different from reality but is pretty unique and fun. May it be Golmaal, Singham or Chennai Express-- we were lost in the world created by the director. Well, Cirkus promises to take things up a notch and that’s exactly what we expected when we heard the title of this upcoming comedy. Starring Ranveer Singh , Varun Sharma , Pooja Hegde and Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead, this Rohit Shetty directorial will take us back to the 60s.

The teaser of Cirkus was dropped some time back, where the team welcomed us to their colorful and bright world, when life went beyond phones, Google search and social media reels. It was a time when life was simple. Well, their outfits and looks are enough to leave us intrigued! The cherry on top is Ranveer’s double role. But the teaser has revealed one juicy detail about the film-- Ranveer is not the only one playing two characters. That’s right! Varun will also be seen in a dual role.

While the comedy will release on 25th December on the special occasion of Christmas, the trailer of Cirkus will be dropped on 2nd December. After watching the teaser, we have to say that it looks out of the box and promises to be an entertaining cinematic experience much like Ranveer and Rohit’s first film together, Simmba. It introduced us to a new avatar of the actor which was loved by all. This time, the fun will be double with two Ranveers and two Varuns! Well, we can’t wait to watch the trailer soon.

According to earlier buzz, Ranveer’s wife and actress Deepika Padukone will have a cameo appearance in Cirkus. She will reportedly be seen as Meenalochni Azhagusundaram aka Meenamma from Shetty’s 2013 hit Chennai Express.
