At the pre-release event of the highly anticipated film Thangalaan in Hyderabad, actor Chiyaan Vikram took a moment to appreciate the love and encouragement he has received from audiences in the Telugu states throughout his outstanding career. Vikram, known for his versatile roles and powerful performances, became visibly emotional while discussing the film and its significance.

"We cannot classify this movie as a Tamil, Telugu, or Malayalam movie," Vikram said, highlighting the universal appeal of Thangalaan. "You supported Ponniyin Selvan so wonderfully. It was a story that happened thousands of years ago. The story of Thangalaan happened just 100 years ago. It's a beautiful, adventurous movie, a work of art. Ranjith has done something spectacular."

Reflecting on the audience's response to his work, Vikram expressed his deep emotional connection to the film. "It's a very good film, and very close to my heart. I am very content with the response that this film has received so far. I am very emotional right now, and this is what drives me to keep doing what I do."

Vikram also shared his long-standing admiration for director Pa Ranjith. "Ranjith is one of my dream directors. I wanted to work with him since I first saw Madras. We had been talking for a long time, but nothing materialized. Thangalaan is a very different film. It has a huge shock and awe value. There are going to be so many things, and it has adventure, magic, emotions, messages, and so on. I am so excited to watch the first day, the first show. I want to thank Ranjith for giving me one of the best roles."

With its release scheduled for August 15, the film has already generated significant buzz. The film also stars Parvathy Thiruvothu, Daniel Caltagirone, and Hari Krishnan Anbudurai.
