Chiranjeevi 'Waltair Veerayya' collects an impressive 88 crores worldwide in pre-release sales

Chiranjeevi 's upcoming mass action movie Waltair Veerayya is off to a great start at the box office and has collected around 88 crores in pre-release businesses.

Beating out Nandamuri Balakrishna as Veera Simha Reddy, which managed to collect around 73 crores in pre-release business, Both movies will be clashing at the box office next week.

The breakdown of Waltair Veerayya's pre-release business is, Nizam district for 18 crores Ceded district for 14.5 crores, and overseas for 9 cr, the rights for Andhra were sold at 40 crores. The ROI from the sale of audio rights and others was 6.5 crores

The movie will mark the actor's first collaboration with director K. S. Ravindra, whose last movie Venky Mama which starred Venkatesh and Naga Chaitanya was a big hit.

The music for the movie is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, Waltair Veerayya has a total of four songs "Boss Party", "Sridevi Chiranjeevi", "Veerayya Title Song", "Poonakaalu Loading".

Waltair Veerayya will mark the first on-screen collaboration between Chiranjeevi and Ravi Teja , who will be playing the role of ACP Vikram Sagar.

Waltair Veerayya has an impressive supporting cast that includes Shruti Haasan, Catherine Tresa, Bobby Simha, Rajendra Prasad, Vennela Kishore, and Urvashi Rautela who will be performing in an item number.

Chiranjeevi's last movie Godfather was a remake of the 2019 Malayalam movie Lucifer was a massive success and went on to gross over one hundred crores at the global box office.

The movie is produced by Mythri Movie Makers with award-winning composer Devi Sri Prasad serving as music director, Arthur A. Wilson behind the camera, and Niranjan Devaramane in charge of editing.

The movie will be facing stiff competition at the box office clashing with Balakrishna's, Thalapathy Vijay's Varisu, and Ajith Kumar's Thunivu.

Waltair Veerayya will release on January 13th, 2023.
