Chiranjeevi holds Olympic torch replica at Paris 2024 inaugural. See photo

Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi shared a photo on Saturday of himself holding the Olympic torch replica along with his wife Surekha. He seems overjoyed by the opportunity to witness the inaugural event of the biggest global sporting event.

While expressing his joy, Chiranjeevi also shared his best wishes for the Indian talents participating in the Olympics. "Absolutely thrilled to attend the inaugural of the #PARIS2024 #Olympics. A delightful moment holding the Olympic Torch replica along with Surekha! Wishing each and every player of our proud Indian contingent all the very best and the best medal tally ever! Go India!! 🇮🇳 Jai Hind," he tweeted.

It's not clear whether Chiranjeevi is attending the Olympics in an individual capacity or as an official cultural representative from the Indian government.

Earlier this week, Chiranjeevi flew to Paris along with his son Ram Charan, wife Surekha, daughter-in-law Upasana Kamineni, and granddaughter Klin Kara Konidela. He shared a picture of himself taking a casual walk in the popular Hyde Park in London while traveling to Paris. The image went viral instantly.

On the career front, Chiranjeevi is busy shooting for his mythology-inspired fantasy drama, Vishwambhara. Written and directed by Mallidi Vassishta, the film also stars Trisha Krishnan and Meenakshi Chaudhary in lead roles. Vishwambhara is expected to open in cinemas in January next year.

Meanwhile, Ram Charan just finished shooting for his much-awaited movie, Game Changer. Written and directed by Shankar, the film is expected to be a gripping political drama. The production faced several delays owing to various reasons.

Ram Charan was last seen in RRR, which also starred Jr NTR. He has been absent from the big screen for two years now. Game Changer is expected to hit the screens in December this year.
