Chiranjeevi awarded Guinness World Record, Aamir Khan praises his dance prowess

Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi has added another prestigious accolade to his illustrious career after being honoured with a Guinness World Record at a star-studded event. The record recognizes Chiranjeevi as the Most Prolific Film Star in the Indian Film Industry for his remarkable contribution to cinema over 45 years. Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan graced the event as a special guest. 

The Guinness World Record title acknowledges Chiranjeevi’s exceptional career, highlighting his more than 24,000 dance moves performed in 537 songs across 156 films. Reflecting on the recognition, Chiranjeevi expressed heartfelt gratitude: "I never dreamed of earning a Guinness World Record. I thank God for blessing me with this unexpected honour."

Chiranjeevi also credited his love for dance as the driving force behind the achievement. "More than acting, I always had a greater interest in dance," he said while accepting the award. Recalling his early days, he shared fond memories of entertaining his neighbours by dancing to radio songs and performing for his NCC group during camps. "Dance has always been part of my life, and maybe that's why I received this award."

He emphasized how his dancing talents became instrumental in his rise to fame, noting that filmmakers created opportunities in films specifically to showcase his abilities. "Dance gave me an edge in the industry," Chiranjeevi remarked, reflecting on how his dance moves helped amplify his popularity on the big screen.

Aamir Khan, who joined Chiranjeevi on stage, praised the Megastar’s infectious passion for dance. "His whole heart is in the dance. Our eyes don’t move away from him because he's having such a great time that we get carried away with him," Aamir said, applauding Chiranjeevi's unmatched energy.

Chiranjeevi, in turn, thanked Aamir for attending the event, calling his presence a "memorable" part of the occasion. "I will never forget this gesture from you," said Chiranjeevi.
