Sharing the new trailer on social media, the makers wrote, “Finally, the most awaited #Brother trailer is out now. This fun-filled roller coaster is all set to release on October 31st, this Diwali!”

The trailer begins with Jayam Ravi introduced as a carefree man who is unbothered by the judgments passed on him by his family and relatives. He plays a law student who has yet to complete his degree, despite constant taunts from his family. We are then introduced to Priyanka Mohan’s character, who plays Jayam Ravi’s love interest. The trailer further explores the heartwarming sibling relationship between Jayam Ravi and Bhumika Chawla's characters, while also highlighting scenes with a mix of action and drama. Overall, the trailer doesn’t give away much of the story but promises a true family entertainer for this Diwali festival.

Sharing his thoughts on the film, Jayam Ravi expressed that the family element in Brother is what drew him to the project. “The film beautifully captures family bonds, which I believe will strongly connect with viewers. It’s been a while since I have done a film of this nature, and I realised it’s something my fans have been missing. I even have a great dance number—something I haven’t done since Komali. Brother is a true commercial entertainer that audiences are going to enjoy.”

Produced by Screen Scene Media Entertainment, the film features a soundtrack by Harris Jayaraj. On the technical side, Vivekanand Santhosam is responsible for cinematography, with editing by Ashish Joseph.

As reported earlier, the digital streaming rights for Brother have been secured by Zee5 and will be available to watch online after the film's theatrical run.

Brother is slated to hit the big screens on October 31, 2024.
