Brahmastra motion poster: Ranbir Kapoor is all set to harness the power of the gods in Ayan Mukherji's 'AstraVerse'

Ranbir Kapoor is all set to play a hero straight out of the Indian mythology in Ayan Mukherji’s Barhmastra. The filmmaker’s magnum opus which has been in the making for quite some time now finally announced its arrival with a powerful motion poster featuring Ranbir who plays Shiva in the movie.

After years of keeping fans in the dark about the subject of the film, it has finally been hinted with the motion poster of Barhmastra what the fans can expect from this project. The story will talks about powerful ‘astras’(weapon of the gods) which find a mention in the Indian mythology and the the most powerful of them the ‘ Brahmastra ’ is said to be waking.

Shiva played by Ranbir can be seen telling Alia who plays Isha in the film about these ‘astras’ and how he can sense their presence while the others don’t understand it. Ranbir by the looks of it will play a Shiv avatar in this fantasy drama which is backed by Dharma Productions .

The motion poster was launched by Alia Bhatt and Ayan Mukerji at a special event in New Delhi which was also broadcasted live on YouTube. With the motion poster the final release date for Brahmstra has also been revealed as September 9, 2022.
