Brahmāstra: Ayan Mukerji, Karan Johar introduce Alia Bhatt as Isha on her birthday with first visuals from the film

One of Bollywood’s finest actresses, Alia Bhatt is celebrating her 29thbirthday today. Before she jetted off to celebrate her special day with her loved ones, the beauty got a present in the form of Gangubai Kathiawadi’s roaring success. Up next, she will be seen in Ayan Mukerji ’s much awaited superhero film Brahmāstra . While Alia’s beau and co-actor Ranbir Kapoor ’s first look as Shiva was unveiled a few months ago, it was reported that she will be introduced to fans as Isha today. Much to our delight, Ayan and Karan Johar have now shared the first visuals from Brahmāstra, wishing Alia a happy birthday!

Along with the clip, which is sure to leave you mesmerized, Ayan shared, “Happy Birthday, Little One. For all the Joy… the Pride… the Inspiration, and the Magic that you make me feel… Here’s something to celebrate you on your special day. Our Isha - the Shakti of Brahmāstra - in the first visuals we are releasing from our movie ! Love. Light. Fire. Go ! #happybirthdayalia #brahmastra.” Alia’s mentor KJo, on the other hand, penned a heartfelt note which read, “10 years ago I didn’t know that one day I could proudly call you my very own Brahmāstra…my weapon of love and of abundant joy…”

He went on to add, “Happy birthday my darling, shine bright always. Thank you for being YOU and for being the wind beneath the wings of this labour of love. I love you always and forever... Brahmāstra Part One: Shiva 09.09.2022.” Alia also shared this introductory video on her handle, and wished herself. Well the clip, which gives us a glimpse into the magical world of Brahmāstra, is sure to leave you in awe. Alia’s various shades will surely get fans even more excited for the film, which will arrive in theatres in September this year. It looks exceptionally promising!
