Brad Pitt reveals how he ended up doing his bizarre cameo in Deadpool 2
The actor spoke about playing the role of The Vanisher in Deadpool 2
Bullet Train
The actor is currently promoting his action movie Bullet Train , in which we team up with director David Leitch.
The pair previously worked together on Deadpool 2 , in which Brad Pitt had a small cameo.
Interestingly enough Leitch used to be Pitt's stunt double in the 90s and early 2000s, so the two share a long friendship.
His Cameo in Deadpool 2 in which he played a character who was invisible through the majority of his role and only briefly revealed his identity upon his death.
Viewers were presently surprised but wondered why one of the biggest movie stars on the planet would do a cameo that only lasted a few seconds.
In a recent interview with BBC 1 Radio, the actor explained the simple reason why he choose to be in Deadpool 2, Calling it the 'easiest thing [He's] done
“What was shooting that like? Pretty much, easiest thing I’ve ever done. Dave’s an old friend of mine and he used to be… he was my stunt double starting with Fight Club and all the way up till about 2004. And then he went off and became a really good director, which is rare. Rare.” “Ryan called and like, why not?"
The original script didn't have the Vanisher revealing his face but as the script evolved they decided to approach Bradd Pitt, who is a fan of Deadpool, Pitt agreed to do the role for a very low salary and a cup of coffee.
Deadpool 3 is currently in the early stages of production with Shawn Levy serving as director.
As for Brad Pitt's Bullet Train, the movie has an 81% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes and is expected gross over 30 million in its opening Weekend.
The movie is currently running in theaters.
