The OTT major Disney Plus Hotstar, today, dropped the gripping trailer of its ‘horror-filled’ film titled Bloody Ishq. The said film stars the fresh mint pairing of Avika Gor and Vardaan Puri. The trailer seems to have everything that it takes to make the film an edge of the seat thriller.
The trailer starts off with a resonating voice that states, ‘Koi nahi, bas hum aur hamaari tanhaai. Yaddaash cheez hi aisi hai, ek baar chali jaaye, toh you never know what is coming back. This is followed by the introduction of the characters played by Avika Gor and her boyfriend (played by Vardaan Puri). After coming home, Avika starts feeling uneasy with the vibes of the house. She, then, immediately tells the same to her boyfriend, who does not pay much heed to it.
That’s when Avika suddenly meets a mysterious lady in the house. And when she asks her about the reason for meeting her, the lady says that she wanted to warn her (Avika Gor) that the house was haunted. This is then, followed by a series of events which leads the audience to a glimpse of what to expect from this horror thriller.
Towards the end of the trailer, Avika Gor’s character is shown meeting up with someone only to find out the spirit which has been haunting her house! Does she get an answer to her question is what will be unveiled when the film releases on the OTT platform Disney Plus Hotstar.
In a media statement, Avika Gor said that she felt very fortunate that Vikram Bhatt thought of her when he was visualizing this film and that horror was something she enjoyed as a genre and to land this role was interesting and challenging.
On the other hand, the film’s director Vikram Bhatt said that it could be hard to believe him, but he was scared of watching horror films, even though he absolutely enjoyed making them for the viewers. In the same breath, he added that he had been wanting to make a horror love story for the longest and when he spoke to Mahesh Bhatt about it, without a second thought, he jumped in and that was how Bloody Ishq happened!
