After teasing audiences with intriguing posters, the makers of Star-fame Tamil actor Kavin’s upcoming film Bloody Beggar have unveiled the first glimpse, otherwise called Beggar Peek. Directed by Sivabalan, the film is produced by Jailer-fame filmmaker-turned-producer Dilipkumar in his debut production venture under his home banner, Filament Pictures.

Bloody Beggar's first glimpse is out

Sharing the new glimpse, the makers wrote on social media, “Meet our wild, weird, and wacky Beggar. Watch #BeggarPeek from #BloodyBeggar.” The new glimpse opens with a traffic jam sequence, where a gritty and unkempt Kavin, playing a handicapped beggar, appears on the scene. He drags himself through the road, begging for money from drivers.

As he approaches an auto-rickshaw driver, the man says that he hasn’t had any rides since the morning and is empty-handed. However, staring at the driver’s legs, the beggar emotionally rants that he too would have been able to drive an auto and make a living if he had legs to walk. Sympathizing with him, the auto driver puts some money on his plate. But in a surprising revelation, when the death possession in the traffic arrives, with music and dance erupting on the road, Kavin’s character is seen standing up from his handicapped trolley and dancing along with the crowd. Watching this deception, the auto driver stands there, stunned. Kavin’s transformation as a beggar in this glimpse promises a fun-filled comedy-drama this Diwali and hints at much more to unravel!

Bloody Beggar to clash with Amaran

As announced earlier, Kavin’s Bloody Beggar will be clashing with the Sivakarthikeyan-starrer war biopic Amaran. Both films will be released on October 31, 2024.
