'Blockbuster loading': Varun Dhawan performs the Mahurat Pooja of his untitled next by Atlee, netizens react

    Varun Dhawan kickstarts the shooting of his next untitled action movie by Atlee with a Mahurat Pooja.

    Varun Dhawan has kickstarted the Mahurat Pooja of his upcoming actioner which is touted to be an ambitious project backed by Atlee. The movie marks the Bollywood debut of South sensation Keerthy Suresh. It will also see the debut of Wamiqa Gabbi on the big screen. The makers released a video wherein the cast and crew of the movie come together to mark the auspicious start of the project.

    The untitled movie is currently referred to as VD18. The video shows Varun looking dapper in a light blue kurta as he attends the Mahurat Pooja. Keerthy looks beautiful in a bright yellow saree with a sleeveless blouse and her hair tied in a neat bun with a Gajra. While Wamiqa has opted for a blue lehenga with floral prints. They can be seen offering prayers to the Almighty for the project to be a success and coming together for a group picture. Take a look at the same.

    No sooner was the video shared by the makers than fans also started reacting to the same. One of the fans stated, “Atlee X Varun Dhawan = Blockbuster Loading.” A netizen said, “It is gonna be a blockbuster for sure.” Another user said, “Wow this will going to be definitely a blockbuster of Atlee sir after Jawan.” A fan predicted that Varun will see a Rs 1000 crore movie in the form of this actioner. The comment stated, “Now it's going to be first 1000cr film for #VARUNDHAWAN.” Even though there have not been any speculations regarding the same but a fan said that the movie is a remake of the Vijay and Samantha Ruth Prabhu starrer Tamil movie Theri. The comment said, “Its an adaptation of Theri in a better way with a new storyline. I'm sooo excited.”

    Varun’s untitled next will be helmed by A Kaleeswaram. The video also shows a thrilling glimpse of the shooting to have begun. The team of the movie chose the auspicious occasion of Pongal and Makar Sankranti today (January 14) to share the video of the Mahurat Pooja.
