Rohit Shetty has so far aced the ‘universe’ game giving Bollywood a blockbuster ‘cop universe’ with Singham, Simmba and Sooryavanshi. However, the filmmaker is now all set for a ‘comedyverse’ and Cirkus holds the key to amplifying the Golmaal universe.

In the trailer of Cirkus, we see young Gopal, Laxman, Madhav and Lucky at the entrance of the Jamnadas Orphanage where they were raised. With this tiny insert, the whole Golmaal franchise is getting a fresh perspective and looks like Ranveer Singh will be a part of it.

Set in the ‘60s Cirkus sees Ranveer in a double role, and holds ample hints at being directly linked with the Golmaal films and characters.
