Bachchhan Paandey song Meri Jaan Meri Jaan: Kriti brings out the romantic side of Akshay Kumar’s evil character

After the trailer of Bachchhan Paandey was unveiled by the makers and the team dropped the first track Maar Khayegaa, one thing was clear-- Akshay Kumar ’s character, who has a stone eye and stone heart, is pure evil. In fact he is so heartless that he apparently kills his lover Sophie aka Jacqueline Fernandez. Well, the second song from the action comedy is now out and it gives us a glimpse of an unknown side of Bachchhan Paandey’s personality-- the romantic, emotional hero. The entire credit for this goes to the gorgeous Kriti Sanon , who is playing the role of an aspiring filmmaker in the movie.

Titled Meri Jaan Meri Jaan, the romantic melody has been helmed by B Praak with lyrics by Jaani. Not only does the sweet track tug at your heartstrings, but also helps you imagine a magical world where love is the only language. While Akshay has done many films in the genre, seeing his menacing character Bachchhan Paandey in a romantic mode was unexpected, but surprisingly pleasant. His chemistry with Kriti is pure magic and seems beautifully unreal. Another highlight of this music video is how breathtaking Kriti looks in her colorful sarees!
