Ayushmann Khurrana's Action Hero trailer sees him diving into a new genre, fans say 'breath of fresh air in Bollywood'

The trailer of Ayushmann Khurrana ’s much-awaited film Action Hero is finally here. The film will see Ayushmann come out with a full-fledged slick action film for the first time and the trailer clearly stands out to the expectations. The movie also stars Jaideep Ahlawat in a pivotal role wherein his character locks horns with Ayushmann in some mind-boggling action sequences.

Talking about the same, the trailer begins with the audience getting to know that Ayushmann Khurrana’s character has embroiled himself in an ugly murder case presumably of a fellow actor. Ayushmann is shown to be a successful actor who dabbles particularly in action films and is known as an ‘action hero.’ However, all hell breaks loose when Jaideep Ahlawat who is the brother of the dead victim goes behind Ayushmann to avenge the death of his brother. What follows is a cat-and-mouse chase between Ayushamann Khurrana and Jaideep Ahlawat with some badass action sequences. We see Ayushmann in a never-seen-before avatar wherein he can be seen landing some kicks and punches. There are also some quirky dialogues that will leave you in splits. One of the scenes where Jaideep lashes out at Ayushmann for bein clueless about everyone’s identity in the film is one of the most hilarious ones in the same.

We also see Malaika Arora as a surprise package in the Action Hero trailer. She can be seen in a dance number and it is after a long time that we will see her sizzling dance moves on the big screen. The film is directed by Anirudh Iyer. It has been bankrolled by Aanand L Rai , Bhushan Kumar, and Krishan Kumar.
