'Attention given to every emotion is so fantastic': Amitabh Bachchan & Rashmika Mandanna’s Goodbye gets a big thumbs up from fans

The much-awaited family drama Goodbye starring Amitabh Bachchan , Rashmika Mandanna , and Neena Gupta was finally released today, i.e October 7. Since then there is a lot of buzz about the film on social media. Directed by Vikas Bahl, who is known for films like Queen, and Super 30 among others, has presented a story about a family trying to come to terms with the death of one of its members.
Well, the overseas Censor Board member Umair Sandhu has described the film as brilliant. He tweeted and wrote- “One of the best family films of 2022 so far. Amitabh Bachchan, Rashmika Mandanna, Neena Gupta surprised with the performance. Brilliant acting by all the actors. Family audience will love this flick. Reportedly, Vikas, who is also a writer of the film, was inspired by a friend of his who told him that his father was not afraid of death. Instead, his father even told his family how to perform his last rites. This is what became the plot of Goodbye. Apart from Amitabh, the film also stars Ashish Vidyarthi, Sunil Grover, Pavail Gulati, Elli Avram, and Sahil Mehta in key roles.
Meanwhile, the film marks the Bollywood debut of Rashmika. She was nervous ahead of the movie, hence Amitabh Bachchan came to her rescue. Bachchan can be seen calming Rashmika’s nerves by saying: “Why are you nervous? You have done an amazing job in the film. Recently, I had tweeted something which said ‘Stop being nervous and start being excited about what can go right.’ Your role as Tara in the film Goodbye is essayed very beautifully. You have done a great job in the film. Honestly speaking, I have become your fan.” Responding to which Rashmika said “Always supporting and guiding me throughout as my mentor and also as my papa.
