Malayalam star Tovino Thomas is on an all-India tour promoting his latest film, Ajayante Randam Moshanam (ARM). This ambitious project marks a significant milestone in his career, and he is pulling out all the stops to ensure its success in theatres nationwide. Recognizing the growing appreciation for Malayalam cinema in the Telugu-speaking states, Tovino has dedicated considerable time and effort to raise awareness about ARM among Telugu audiences.

While engaging with the media during his promotional tour, Tovino revealed that he's been in talks to star in a direct Telugu film. However, he expressed reservations about participating in multi-starrer projects due to potential scheduling conflicts with his commitments in Malayalam cinema.

"A multi-starrer happening in Telugu is hard. Everyone is busy with their own movies," Tovino explained. "I cannot be part of a Telugu multi-starrer because, if I am doing a Telugu movie, four or five movies in Malayalam will be affected. If it's a Telugu multi-starrer, probably my Malayalam career will end with that one movie because all my movies will be affected. In Malayalam, we finish movies in one or two schedules."

Tovino also shared a conversation he had with fellow actor Dulquer Salmaan about working in Telugu cinema. Dulquer has successfully crossed over into the Telugu film industry and has managed to take on solo projects in the language, in addition to continuing his work in Malayalam cinema.

"I asked Dulquer, 'How is Telugu?' and he said it's easy to learn. I don't find it easy right now, but I will start," he remarked.

Despite the challenges, Tovino is enthusiastic about bridging the language gap and connecting with Telugu audiences. He promised to improve his language skills for future interactions.

"Next time, when I come here, I will give a full speech in Telugu. That's a promise," he said.

Talking about ARM, Tovino described it as a "dream project" while seeking the support of the Telugu audience. "In 2016, this script was written, and in 2017, the director selected this script and narrated it to me. On September 12, that dream is going to come true. It's an ambitious project for us, and I hope you will all like it."

ARM is set to release on September 12, and it stars Telugu actress Krithi Shetty as the female lead.
