Arjun Das to romance Aditi Shankar in a musical love story? Here’s everything we know

Tamil actor Arjun Das and filmmaker Shankar’s daughter, actress Aditi Shankar, join forces for their maiden collaboration. In the latest development, the two young actors are all set to collaborate with Yuvaraj Ganesan of Million Dollar Studios, who has previously backed the hit films Good Night and Lover. 

Directed by debutant Vignesh Srikanth, the upcoming project has been titled Production 4 and was officially launched with a puja ceremony recently in Chennai. 

Arjun Das, Aditi Shankar to star in musical love story

According to reports, the upcoming film is said to be an out-and-out entertainer featuring Arjun Das and Aditi Shankar in the leading roles. Arjun Das, who took to his social media handles to share the exciting update, revealed the upcoming film will be a ‘beautiful musical love story.’

The film is co-produced by Yuvaraj Ganesan of Million Dollar Studios and VR Vamsi of FYNTEMAX. 

The makers are yet to disclose the other cast members of the film. On the technical front, the movie consists of cinematographer Aravind Viswanathan, editor Nash, costume designer Nava Rajkumar, and art director Raj Kamal. The music for the film is composed by Hridayam-fame music composer Hesham Abdul Wahab in his Tamil debut. The composer had earlier crooned for Jassi Gift’s Tamil song "Panivizhum Kaalama" in the film Pattalam.

Arjun Das’ latest outing Rasavathi

Arjun Das was last seen in director Santhakumar's Rasavathi, which revolved around a former doctor, Siddha, and his wife, and their life is upended when a police inspector seeks revenge on Siddha. The movie stars Arjun Das as Siddha, Tanya Ravichandran, and Ramya Subramanian in key roles. Sujith Shankar plays the antagonist in the film. The movie opened to mixed reactions from viewers and did not perform well at the box office. 

The movie is currently available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
