As the filmmaker has already announced the sequel of the film titled Animal Park, taking forward Ranbir’s character. There are reports circulating that the producers have decided to expand the Animal universe with a standalone project featuring Bobby Deol.
If reports of Times Now are to believed, the producers are working on various ideas to carry the Animal success forward. There is a chance of a spin-off of the Bobby’s character Abrar in a movie, which may not be directed by Sandeep. “One of course is the sequel which will not happen before 2026. A more tenable and proximate possibility is the spinoff of the Bobby Deol character Abrar Haque which can accommodate a stand-alone movie, not necessarily directed by Sandeep Vanga Reddy who it seems, will be busy with the sequel to Animal(which may or may not be titled Animal Park),” said the report.
While talking about the possibility of the spin-off of his character, Bobby said, “My character Abrar comes in late in Animal, towards the end. But the impact is unbelievable. Fans want a spinoff of my character. When it happens, I will be glad. Right now, I can’t believe what I am going through! Animal is bigger than anything we imagined. It is still not sinking in.” Bobby has received massive love and appreciation for his performance. Even his dance moves in Jamal Kudu song has become viral.
Meanwhile, Sandeep Reddy Vanga will begin shooting for Animal Park only after he concludes his upcoming Spirit starring Prabhas. He has also hinted at Animal trilogy with Part 2 and Part 3.
