Anjaamai release date: Vidaarth and Rahman's film will hit the big screens on THIS date

    The upcoming Tamil drama Anjaamai, starring Vidaarth and Rahman, is all set to hit the big screens on June 7, 2024. Directed by debutant SP Subburaman, the Tamil film will now clash with Vasanth Ravi and Sathyaraj's Weapon and Mic Mohan's Haraa. The makers of the film took to their social media handles to share the announcement and dropped an interesting poster from the movie. The new poster features Rahman, Vidaarth, along with Krithik Mohan in an intense pose.

    From the trailer, it is understood that Vidaarth plays the character of a theatre artist, while actress Vani Bhojan plays his wife. The trailer showcases his son preparing for the NEET exam but finding it difficult to clear the examination. The trailer then showcases Rahman, who is seen playing an advocate, fighting against the need for the NEET exam. 

    The film is set to narrate the tale of aspiring medical students who are finding it difficult to clear the medical exam. The movie is set to focus on how the NEET exam affects students and will delve deeper into the commercialization of education. Director Subburaman had revealed, “Education has majorly become commercialized now so much that students end up toiling for decades before they receive the fruits of education. I have translated my thoughts on this issue into the film.”

    Besides the lead cast, the film also stars Krithik Mohan and Ramar in prominent roles. On the technical front, the music for the film has been scored by Raghav Prasad, cinematography is handled by Karthick, and editing is handled by Ramsudharsan. The film is bankrolled by Dr. M Thirunavukarasu under his banner, Tiruchithram, and is presented by Dream Warrior Pictures.
