When the teaser of Animal released, we got a glimpse of Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna's characters. They were having a conversation about kids, which soon became strained when Anil Kapoor aka Ranbir's on-screen father was mentioned. We understood that this film revolves around a father-son bond 'carved in blood'. However, as we wait to unravel the mystery behind their relationship, makers have given us a better look at Ranbir and Rashmika's chemistry with the first track Hua Main. Just yesterday the poster, featuring Ranbir and Rashmika's lip lock, took the internet by storm. Well, in the music video which is now out, the two can't keep their lips to themselves.

The melody, helmed by Pritam and Raghav Chaitanya, is intense but also soothing. The beats hit hard and leave an impact while the lyrics and vibe are passionate. But the music video takes the cake. Ranbir and Rashmika look like they are consumed by their love for each other. Their chemistry is more heartwarming and natural than steamy, which makes watching them together very easy on the eyes. The track begins with Rashmika’s family voicing their concerns about her relationship with Ranbir. But they are soon silenced by a passionate kiss. The love birds then set out to paint their own fairytale, starting with a ride on a private jet.

One word which can be used to describe the effect that Hua Main has on us, is ‘soothing’. Ranbir and Rashmika seem very comfortable together on-screen, which speaks volumes about their versatility as actors. The aesthetic locations are like a bonus, making this track a visual and aural delight. We can’t wait to see how their love unfolds in Animal, when the film arrives in theatres on 1st December.

Also starring Bobby Deol, Tripti Dimri and Shakti Kapoor, Animal has been directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who helmed Kabir Singh.
