Animal Box Office Day 1 prediction: Ranbir Kapoor-Bobby Deol's film set for Rs 95 crore opening worldwide collection
On its opening day, Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s directorial is expected to register Rs 95 crore at the global market, out of which Rs 55 crore and Rs 10 crore is expected from Hindi and Telugu shows respectively.

The Ranbir Kapoor and Bobby Deol starrer Animal has been picking up steam with each passing day. The film’s trailer, songs and violent sequences seem to work in its favour, as big numbers on the opening day are expected given the great advance bookings. It is being predicted that the gangster drama will rake in around Rs 95 crore at the worldwide box office.
According to Indian film trade portal Sacnilk, Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s directorial is expected to register Rs 95 crore at the global market, out of which Rs 55 crore and Rs 10 crore is expected from Hindi and Telugu shows respectively. The final advance gross has reached to Rs 33 crore, with roughly Rs 14 crore in terms of gross earnings in terms of advance booking of 5,00,000 tickets across India as of Tuesday. Of these, national multiplex chains sold approximately 2,00,000 tickets and earned around Rs 7.50 crore so far.
Trade analyst Ramesh Bala predicted the film will definitely perform much better than Ranbir Kapoor's previous film Brahmastra but would not be able to beat Pathaan, Jawan and Gadar 2. However, it may compete with Tiger 3's opening day numbers. “Having said that, this is Ranbir's biggest advance collection in his career," Bala told India Today. Meanwhile, Animal is the the fourth Indian film to release in Bangladesh after Pathaan, Jawan and Leo. It also the second movie after Jawan to release on the same day in Bangladesh as the rest of the world.
Backed by T-Series, Bhadrakali Pictures and Cine1 Studios, Animal focuses on the complex and strained father-son relationship in the backdrop of the underworld. The film also stars Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Prem Chopra, Shakti Kapoor and Triptii Dimri in key roles. The film is set to arrive in theatres worldwide on December 1 in multiple languages including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
