Amidst divorce fiasco, AR Rahman croons and grooves to romantic track from Jayam Ravi and Nithya Menen's Kadhalikka Neramillai

AR Rahman has been embroiled in a shocking controversy after announcing his separation from his wife, Saira Banu, with whom he was married for over 29 years. While there are several speculations making the rounds surrounding his separation, the composer surprised fans by releasing a new romantic track, the first single from Jayam Ravi and Nithya Menen’s upcoming romantic film, Kadhalikka Neramillai.

Yennai Izhukkuthadi from Kadhalikka Neramillai is OUT

The first single, titled Yennai Izhukkuthadi, features vocals by AR Rahman and Dhee. It’s a funky romantic track where both singers groove to adorable steps. The leading pair, Jayam Ravi and Nithya Menen, also make an appearance, showing off their dance moves. Fans couldn’t stop praising AR Rahman for shaking a leg in the song. Directed by Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi, the upcoming film is touted to be a modern love story and stars Jayam Ravi, Nithya Menen, Vinay Rai, Yogi Babu, Lal, John Kokken, TJ Bhanu, Lakshmy Ramakrishnan, and Vinodhini, among others. AR Rahman has composed the film’s original soundtrack and score, including the title song.

As per reports, the film is scheduled to hit theaters on December 20, 2024, although an official announcement is awaited.
