    After Sivakarthikeyan gave Tamil audiences a memorable Pongal release with the superhit film Ayalaan this year, the actor is now gearing up for the much-awaited Diwali release of Amaran. In the latest development, the makers of his film, under Kamal Haasan’s production banner Raaj Kamal Films International, have announced that the actor has successfully finished dubbing, and the overall dubbing work for the film has been completed.

    Sharing an exciting video of the leading man at the dubbing studio, the makers wrote, "Mission accomplished with precision! #AmaranDubbingConcludes."

    The brief video showcases Sivakarthikeyan at the dubbing studio alongside director Rajkumar Periasamy, as he records his portions for his character. The clip concludes with the actor delivering his popular line from the film, "Who are we?" as it teases the grand release of Amaran this Diwali.

    Helmed by Rajkumar Periasamy, the film is set to hit theaters on October 31, 2024. Starring Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi, the movie is inspired by the life of the late Major Mukund Varadarajan, an Indian Army officer, who was posthumously honored with Ashok Chakra.

    Director Rajkumar Periasamy recently discussed Sai Pallavi's role in Amaran and highlighted the challenging aspects of her character. He revealed that many of the scenes, including the more difficult ones, were completed effortlessly once she stepped in front of the camera. The director praised the actress for her thorough approach, noting how she carefully analyzes each scene, taking into account what happens before and after, along with the emotional nuances. He said, “Sai Pallavi is able to turn the conditions to her advantage and delivers excellent performances with remarkable speed.” Rajkumar also added that her efficiency allows them to shoot up to six scenes in a day, with her quickly changing costumes between takes.

    The film's streaming rights have been acquired by Netflix, and it would be available on the platform following its theatrical release.

    Amaran is said to be inspired by the non-fiction book India’s Most Fearless: True Stories of Modern Military Heroes, which recounts the real-life challenges faced by Indian soldiers during the 2016 surgical strikes. On the technical side, GV Prakash Kumar has composed the music, Ch Sai is in charge of cinematography, and R Kalaivanan serves as the editor.
