    After teasing audiences with posters and glimpses from the upcoming biographical film Amaran, the makers have decided to unveil the most special character from the film. Taking to their social media pages, the team introduced Sai Pallavi’s character as Indhu Rebecca Varghese, the wife of the late Major Mukund Varadarajan.

    Sharing the emotional and heartwarming introduction to the character, leading man Sivakarthikeyan wrote, “Happy to have shared screen space with one of the most refined artists in our country, @Sai_Pallavi92. Presenting the 'Heart of #Amaran.'”

    The new glimpse begins by introducing Indhu Rebecca Varghese, showcasing footage of the late major’s wife receiving an honorary award from the President of India. The video then presents Sai Pallavi as a chirpy and loving wife to Major Mukund, highlighting her role as a devoted partner. The video captures various sweet and heartwarming moments from the couple’s life. The video concludes with Indu saying she is forever in a long-distance relationship with her love, as she is seen reminiscing about her memories of her late husband on a flight.

    Earlier, director Rajkumar Periasamy spoke about Sai Pallavi's role in Amaran, revealing the complexities of her character. He noted that, despite the challenges of various scenes, Sai Pallavi performed with ease. The director also praised her dedication to mastering the role and highlighted how she thoughtfully examines each scene by analyzing the context of what occurs before and after her sequences.

    Written and directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, the film is set to hit the big screens on October 31, 2024. Starring Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi, the movie is inspired by the life of the late Major Mukund Varadarajan, an Indian Army officer who was posthumously honored with Ashoka Chakra.
