The upcoming Tamil movie Amaran has received glowing reviews following a special screening for members of the Indian Army and their families. Those who had the privilege of watching the movie before its release have heaped praise on it.
Mini Ajay took to her Instagram page to share her excitement about meeting the cast and crew of Amaran during the screening, as well as her thoughts on the film. Directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, Amaran is based on the life and the sacrifice of late Indian Army Major Mukund Varadarajan and is produced by Tamil superstar Kamal Haasan under Raaj Kamal Films International. The film stars Sivakarthikeyan in the titular role, with the trailer sparking excitement among fans of action cinema. Amaran is anticipated to redefine Sivakarthikeyan’s screen persona and potentially become the biggest opener of his career.
In addition to producing the film, Kamal spearheaded its extensive promotion. A-listers like Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, Kannada star Shivarajkumar, Telugu star Nani, and Malayalam star Tovino Thomas each unveiled the trailer in their respective languages, boosting the film’s reach across regional markets.
Sivakarthikeyan also underwent a significant physical transformation to look the part of an elite Indian army soldier. The film is expected to mainly on the anti-terror operations led by Mukund in Kashmir.
Amaran is slated for a theatrical release on October 31.
