The actor also took the opportunity to apologize to his fans for the long wait between his films, vowing to be more prolific in the future.
"It's been three years since my last film. In the future, I won't inconvenience you this much. I will do more films, and you will see a lot more of me," Allu Arjun assured his fans, acknowledging their unwavering support despite his reduced screen presence. "Your love for me hasn't dropped a bit, and I am always indebted to my fans for that."
Addressing the rumours of discord with Sukumar, Allu Arjun was quick to dispel any doubts, emphasizing the strong bond he shares with the director. "It will sound silly if I tell you in words how much I admire Sukumar," he remarked, brushing off the notion of any serious issues between them. Speculations had been rife that prolonged and cancelled shoots had strained the relationship between the two, potentially jeopardizing the production of their much-anticipated film Pushpa 2. However, Allu Arjun’s statements suggest these rumours are unfounded.
The actor also revealed that he had just completed the climax shoot for Pushpa 2, describing it as "the most difficult climax shoot" of his career. Despite his usual reluctance to talk about a movie before its release, Allu Arjun expressed confidence in the film, saying, "The way Pushpa 2 is shaping up, I feel very confident. You will all like it."
Pushpa 2: The Rule is one of the most anticipated movies of 2024, not just in the Telugu states but across the entire country. Pushpa: The Rise was a phenomenal hit in North Indian states, and the filmmakers hope the sequel will capitalize on its predecessor's success.
The release of Pushpa 2 was delayed from August 15 due to production issues. It is now set to hit the screens on December 6.
