‘Alia, Katrina and I are..’: Priyanka Chopra Jonas reveals when Jee Le Zaraa will go on floors

Back in 2021 when it was announced that actor and filmmaker Farhan Akhtar is making a film about an all girls road trip, movie lovers were ecstatic. They further went over the moon with joy when it was revealed that this film would star three of the most popular and loved actresses of the Hindi film industry-- Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt . We waited and waited, but so far there has been no new update on Jee Le Zaraa except for the fact that Farhan is scouting locations. Well, much to our delight, PreeCee has finally given us a hint.

In a recent chat with Pinkvilla during the promotions of her upcoming web series Citadel, Priyanka opened up about Jee Le Zaraa. She shared that all three actresses are currently busy as bees. However, the global icon also added when the movie might go on floors. Priyanka was quoted saying, “I think everybody wants to know that. I don’t know. I feel Alia, Katrina and I - all three of us are in the busiest phases of our lives, but I am hoping it happens next year. That’s the aim.”

While Priyanka is currently gearing up for the grand premiere of her science fiction action thriller series Citadel, Alia is busy juggling motherhood with her upcoming projects. She will next be seen in Karan Johar’s family dramedy Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani with Ranveer Singh and is also looking forward to her Hollywood debut with Tom Harper’s action film Heart Of Stone this year. Katrina, on the other hand, is simultaneously shooting for two of the most anticipated films of the year-- Sriram Raghavan's Merry Christmas with South superstar Vijay Sethupati, and the third installment of her and Salman Khan’s spy thriller franchise titled Tiger 3.

Well, we are proud of our three desi girls. But we are now eagerly waiting for them to take out time from their hectic schedules and take the car out on the road for Jee Le Zaraa.
