Alia Bhatt turns cheerleader for Ranbir Kapoor’s Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar; Shraddha gives her an interesting nickname

Apart from being one of Hindi film industry’s top actresses, the gorgeous Alia Bhatt is also a doting mother to Raha Kapoor and a loving wife to Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor . But there’s another exciting role that she is playing in real life-- Ranbir’s cheerleader. She is always there by the actor’s side and never shies away from showing her support on social media. An example of the same is her picture posing in a blue t-shirt with the word ‘Kapoor’ written on it when Ranbir’s film Shamshera arrived in theatres. Well, with his new film came a new t-shirt.

We are talking about Alia’s latest post on social media where she not only cheered for Ranbir but also reviewed his latest release Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar . Also starring Shraddha Kapoor in the lead, the romantic comedy marks Ranbir’s first ever collaboration with the actress as well as with filmmaker Luv Ranjan. Along with a picture where she is wearing a t-shirt with the film’s title on it, Alia shared, “Such a LUV-LY time at movies with possibly the sweetest jhoothi and the cutest makkaar 💘💘💘 @luv_films @shraddhakapoor Congratulations you guys ♥️♥️🤩🤩.”

Shraddha had the cutest reaction to this post. Re-sharing it on her official Instagram story, the actress gave a shout out to Alia with a cute new nickname. Shraddha wrote: “Sweetest Doll Alert.” Who says two leading ladies from the film industry can’t be friends?

Well, initially there were rumours which suggested that Alia was the reason why Shraddha and Ranbir were not promoting Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar together. But in a recent interview Luv cleared the air by revealing that he was the one who didn’t want Shraddha and Ranbir to be seen together because the latter is currently sporting a bearded look for his next film Animal. The filmmaker felt that this would bring down the value of their fresh pairing that audiences will see in his rom com.

Up next Ranbir will be seen in Animal whereas Alia will begin gearing up for the release of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. Shraddha, on the other hand, has the much awaited Stree 2 in her line up.
