Alia Bhatt to inherit family jewellery from Neetu Kapoor post her wedding with Ranbir Kapoor?

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will reportedly be tying the knot on April 14, as confirmed by the former’s uncle Robin Bhatt. As the excitement is in the air amongst their fans for the D-day, the latest heartwarming update about the same is that Alia will be inheriting Kapoor’s family heirloom from her mother-in-law Neetu Kapoor after her marriage. Yes, you heard that right! Alia will be passed on the family jewelry by Neetu Kapoor that was passed on to her by her mother-in-law Krishna Raj Kapoor after her wedding with Rishi Kapoor .

A source close to the Kapoor clan revealed to Nirali Kanabar of India Today stating, “As a part of the Kapoor family tradition, Alia Bhatt will inherit an emerald and gold necklace from Kapoor family jewelry. It is a legacy of Kapoor's that will be passed on to the new bahu. Neetu Kapoor will be passing on the family jewelry to Alia that she received from her mother-in-law, Krishna Raj Kapoor. Neetu had passed on the family jewelry to her daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni during her wedding. And now, Alia will be inheriting the precious pieces, which originally belonged to Krishna Raj Kapoor.”

Not only this but the source revealed that Babita Kapoor had also passed on this family jewelry to her daughters Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan during their respective weddings. Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt’s uncle had furthermore confirmed that the couple’s wedding will be a 4-day affair and will be taking place in Ranbir Kapoor’s Vastu apartment in Bandra, Mumbai. Earlier even Alia’s brother Rahul Bhatt confirmed that the wedding is indeed happening.

The main wedding ceremony will reportedly take place at the RK House in Chembur, Mumbai. Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are speculated to host a lavish reception ceremony at the Taj Hotel Palace in Mumbai. The event is said to be a star-studded affair.
