Alia Bhatt is currently riding high when it comes to her professional forefront. Her performance in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial Gangubai Kathiawadi received a positive response from the masses and critics alike. However, in a recent media interaction, the actress confessed that she was heavily inspired by Allu Arjun in Pushpa to bring a ‘swag’ in her walk for the movie. She further jokingly said that she feels her walk is like a duck.

In a chat with India Today, Alia Bhatt said that she felt her walk was like a duck after watching her paparazzi videos. The Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania actress added that she wished to adopt a more swag-like walk for Gangubai Kathiawadi. Alia then confessed that she was inspired by Allu Arjun’s mannerisms in Pushpa to do the same.

Alia Bhatt revealed, “When I watch my own paparazzi videos, I feel like I walk strangely, like a duck. I had to make it more interesting. When I watched Pushpa. I was just taken in by Allu Arjun’s inherent swag. Swag has to be felt. It should be recognized as a talent.”

Meanwhile not only in her professional life but Alia Bhatt is having quite the rosy phase in her personal life too. Speculations have been rife that Alia will soon be tying the knot with beau Ranbir Kapoor this month. Reportedly, the couple plans to tie the knot at the ancestral Kapoor family home and will have nearly 450 guests in attendance.

According to a news report in Pinkvilla , it was Ranbir Kapoor’s idea to ditch a swanky hotel and tie the knot at the family's Chembur home. The same report further mentioned that the couple plans to get married sooner than later and a date in the second week of April has been settled up by the Kapoor and Bhatt families. It has been said that while Ranbir’s family was keen on selecting a date towards the end of April, Alia Bhatt’s family insisted on an earlier date keeping in mind the health of the actress’ maternal grandfather, Narendra Nath Razdan.
