Actor Sivakarthikeyan is solidifying his position as one of the top stars in the Tamil film industry, and it seems he's able to achieve this success thanks in part to the support and secure nature of his seniors, like Thalapathy Vijay and Ajith Kumar.

During the audio release event for his upcoming movie Amaran, Sivakarthikeyan recalled a profound interaction he had with Ajith following the release of his 2022 comedy film, Prince. The movie received mixed reactions and underperformed at the box office. At a time when Sivakarthikeyan was seemingly going through a crisis of confidence, he ran into Ajith at a friend's Diwali party.

"I met Ajith sir during a friend's Diwali get-together. He shook my hand, and the first words he said were, 'Welcome to the big league.' I was speechless and just stared at him. He told me, 'If some people are feeling insecure about your growth, then you're in the big league,'" he recalled.

Ajith's wise words helped Sivakarthikeyan see beyond the setbacks and remain focused on his work.

"At that moment, I realized that I needed to understand the motive behind criticism. If someone says a film is not good, it means I need to make changes in the next one. But if someone says it's the end of your career, I shouldn't believe it," he noted.

Sivakarthikeyan's career has also been recently bolstered by the support of Thalapathy Vijay. In the latest film The Greatest of All Time, Vijay handed his 'thuppakki' (gun) to Sivakarthikeyan in a cameo appearance. This gesture was widely interpreted as Vijay passing the torch, suggesting that Sivakarthikeyan has the potential to fill the void in Tamil cinema once Vijay transitions to full-time politics.

Amaran, produced by Kamal Haasan, is expected to further elevate Sivakarthikeyan's career and redefine his image as an action hero.
