Ajith's Thunivu's team reveal the release date of the movie's first trailer by skydiving from a skyscraper in Dubai.

Ajith 's upcoming heist-thriller movie Thunivu is gearing up to take over the box-office in January. Thunivu is directed by H. Vinoth marking the third collaboration between Aith and the director after 2019s Nerkonda Paarvai and 2022s Valimai. 

The movie also marks the first pairing of Ajith and National award-winning Malayalam actress Manju Warrier, this will be her second Tamil movie after 2019s Asuran in which she co-starred with Dhanush.

The movie is co-produced by Lycaa production have convinced Ajith who has a no-promotion policy for his movies to try a different approach.

The first step was how the team decided to skydive from Skyscrapper in Dubai holding a poster of the movie that had the release date of the first trailer.

So the first trailer will drop online on December 31st, While we do not have too many details about the plot of Thunivu, we do know that it is a heist movie and focuses on a team of professional mercenaries who are targeting banks across Tamil Nadu.

 Veteran Nirav Shah is handling the cinematography with Vijay Velukutty in charge of the editing, The movie is produced by Boney Kapoor.

In a recent interview, the stunt director for the movie Supreme Sundar revealed that Thunivu will have a 32-second one-shot 360-degree stunt done by Ajith. 

He went on to say that Ajith was very enthusiastic about doing the sequence and that it took them 13 takes to get it right.

The music for the movie is composed by Ghibran and currently, three tracks from the movie "Chilla Chilla" sung by Anirudh Ravichander, Vaisagh, and Ghibran, "Kasethan Kadavulada" sung by Vaisagh, Manju Warrier, Ghibran and "Gangstaa" sung by Shabir, Ghibran have been released online.

The movie boasts an impressive star cast that includes Ajith Kumar , Manju Warrier, John Kokken, Samuthirakani, Mamathi Chari, Veera, Prem Kumar, Mahanadi Shankar, and Nayana Sa.

Thunvi will be clashing at the Tamil box office with Thalapthy Vijay's Varisu . Vijay and Ajith are two of the biggest stars in the Tamil movie industry and have had movies clash at the office before. 

Thunivu will hit the big screen on January 12th, 2023.
