Tovino Thomas-starrer Ajayante Randam Moshanam (ARM), the latest period action drama, has been making exceptional numbers at the box office since its impressive opening. Directed by debutant Jithin Laal, the film revolves around three characters played by Tovino, who safeguard the hidden treasures of their land. Starring Tovino Thomas, Krithi Shetty, Aishwarya Rajesh, and Surabhi Lakshmi in lead roles, the film has been doing exceptionally well at the box office. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the Malayalam film earned approximately Rs 3.5 crore at the Indian box office on its opening day, with a global net gross of Rs 6.25 crore. On day 2, the film witnessed a slight jump in numbers, with growth of over 6%, earning Rs 3.20 crore. The film also enjoyed an overall 36.83% Malayalam occupancy on Friday. The movie's worldwide collections stand at Rs 13 crore and it has already recovered more than 20% of its budget. For the unversed, the film was made on a budget of Rs 30 crore and is expected to soon surpass estimates, emerging as a solid Onam blockbuster.

Despite competition from Asif Ali’s Kishkindha Kaandam, which has also received overwhelming responses, the Tovino Thomas-starrer has been able to draw more audiences in Kerala and beyond.

Tovino Thomas on ARM’s reception: Profit over awards

As Ajayante Randam Moshanam continues to perform well at the box office, leading man Tovino Thomas expressed that he prioritizes the success of the producer and the audience's experience over awards and box office numbers when it comes to ARM. He mentioned that his main concern is ensuring the movie makes a profit, even if it's just by a small margin, so the producer doesn’t face any losses. While awards and box office collections are secondary to him, his primary goal is to draw people to theaters and impress them with the film's quality. He views awards and collections as outcomes that follow naturally.

Besides the lead cast, the movie also features Aju Varghese, Rohini, Harish Uthaman, Nisthar Sait, and Pramod Shetty, among others.
