Tovino Thomas’ period action drama Ajayante Randam Moshanam (ARM), which was released on September 12, 2024, opened to positive responses from audiences and critics and is currently one of the top movies on cinema-goers' watchlists this festive season. Directed by debutant Jithin Laal, the film features Tovino Thomas in triple roles, while Krithi Shetty, Aishwarya Rajesh, and Surabhi Lakshmi play the female leads. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the Tovino Thomas-starrer, which was released in 3D format, has earned approximately Rs 3.5 crore at the Indian box office. The film also enjoyed an overall Malayalam occupancy rate of 36.67% in its 3D formats, while 2D formats saw an occupancy rate of 21.29%. Although the film clashed with Asif Ali’s Kishkindha Kaandam, which has also been receiving overwhelming responses, the Tovino Thomas-starrer has an edge outside Kerala.

Earlier, in an interview, leading man Tovino Thomas revealed that the period film was made on a budget of around Rs 30 crore, a relatively low budget compared to other films in this genre. The actor also shared that despite the extensive media publicity, 3D works, and CGI, the budget remained at Rs 30 crore, commending the makers for not going overboard.
However, Ajayante Randam Moshanam marks the most expensive film of Tovino’s career, surpassing his superhero drama Minnal Murali, which was made on a budget of Rs 18 crore.
ARM follows the journeys of three generations of heroes: Maniyan, Kunjikelu, and Ajayan as they fight to protect the land's most precious treasure.

Besides Tovino Thomas, the film features Aishwarya Rajesh, Surabhi Lakshmi, and Krithi Shetty as the female leads.
