Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan's supernatural horror movie, Shaitaan, continues to dominate the box office, crossing the Rs 100 crore mark globally and maintaining its successful theatrical run. It is estimated that the film is earning over Rs 6 crore net in India on weekdays, signaling strong performance.
The newly released film aims to reach a net domestic box office collection of Rs 80 crore. Shaitaan has reportedly grossed over Rs 87.55 crore in India and Rs 20.45 crore overseas within five days of its release. On March 14, the film is estimated to have earned Rs 6.25 crore domestically, with expectations of increased earnings during its second weekend in theaters.
For those who are unfamiliar, Shaitaan is the official remake of the Gujarati movie Vash. It premiered in theaters on March 8, 2024, amid significant anticipation.
The film Shaitaan is directed by Vikas Bahl, while its story and screenplay were written by Krishnadev Yagnik and Aamil Keeyan Khan. The supernatural horror thriller also features Janki Bodiwala and Anngad Raaj in crucial roles.
