Veteran actor Ila Arun and close friend of Alia's mother Soni Razdan congratulated to-be-mother-in-aw for her daughter's wedding.
Though the Kapoor and Bhatt family are keeping stoic silence on Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor ’s wedding, veteran actor Ila Arun has already congratulated Alia’s mother Soni Razdan who is soon going to be mother-in-law.
The Jodha Akbar actor took to Instagram and shared a beautiful photo with Soni where both of them can be twinning in white outfits. She wrote, “Hamari sony sasu ma ban raheein hai. (Our Soni is going to be a mother-in-law soon). Congratulations Mahesh and Dear sony. GodBless Aliya and Ranbeer." Take a look at the post:
With no detail yet revealed about the big Bollywood wedding, Ila’s post came as a surprise to fans and they began flooding the comment section. While one user wrote, “Lo bhai ho gyi news confirm," and another wrote, "She just confirmed alia and Ranbir's wedding". Amid this, Ila's daughter Ishita Arun also dropped heart emojis in the comment section.
Meanwhile, Alia and Ranbir are reportedly set to tie the knot on April 14. Recently, NDTV sources close to the family confirmed that the wedding will take place at the couple’s flat in Vastu, the apartment complex in Mumbai's Pali Hills. They will be tying the knot at 3 pm tomorrow in presence of close family and friends. While all ceremonies pertaining to marriage will begin today with the Mehendi ceremony at around 2 pm at Vastu.
Currently, the apartment complex has been witnessing the entry and exits of several celebrities and celebrity managers. The preparations are going in full wing as the tables are being unloaded and deliveries of crockery and Sabyasachi carry bags are being done this week. The place where the ceremony is going to take place has been screened off with a cloth. However, the camera caught the glimpse of the interior that has been decorated with lights.
Earlier, Alia’s stepbrother Rahul Bhatt has confirmed that the couple will take the wedding vows before April 20. “Yes, the wedding is happening this week, and has not been postponed. All I can say is that it is a matter of time till you see an official release from their side. I can’t tell you the dates, but it will happen soon. I can assure you it will happen before the 20th of April.” he told Hindustan Times.
