After The Archies, Khushi Kapoor to share the screen with Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan in THIS South remake
Even before her debut film’s release, star kid Khushi Kapoor has already bagged her second Bollywood film with Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan
There are many star kids who are currently busy gearing up for their big debut in the Hindi film industry. While Shweta Tiwari’s daughter Palak Tiwari has bagged an important role in Salman Khan’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan and Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda will be making their debut with Zoya Akhtar’s Netflix film The Archies, along with Janhvi Kapoor’s younger sister Khushi Kapoor. Well, according to latest buzz, even before her debut film has released, Khushi has already signed her second Bollywood project.
A report shared by ETimes, has revealed that after The Archies, Boney Kapoor and Sridevi’s younger daughter Khushi will share the screen with Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan in her next film. The two will collaborate on the Hindi remake of the Tamil film Love Today. The romantic comedy, which stars director turned actor Pradeep Ranganathan and Ivana, emerged as a critical as well as a commercial success when it arrived in theatres last year. Well, Khushi and Junaid apparently gave the project an instant yes. A source was quoted saying, “Junaid and Khushi loved their respective roles and decided that this is a big offer. We hear, they did not take long to say 'yes'.”
Khushi and Junaid are expected to begin shooting for their film, backed by Phantom Studios, later this year. Now that’s exciting! Meanwhile, Khushi is currently busy gearing up for The Archies, which is an adaptation of The Archies Comics. The multi starrer also features Vedang Raina, Mihir Ahuja, Santana Roach, Aditi Dot and Yuvraj Menda, and is all set to arrive on Netflix this year. Junaid, on the other hand, has also wrapped up the shooting of his debut film Maharaja. Co-starring Sharvari Wagh, Arjun Reddy fame Shalini Pandey and Jaideep Ahlawat, the upcoming film is reportedly based on the Maharaja Libel Case of 1862. It is ready to release.
Well, we wish the two young actors good luck as we eagerly wait for their first look!
