After Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt to join YRF’s spy universe with Hrithik Roshan and NTR Jr’s War 2?

One of the biggest highlights of YRF’s spy universe was definitely Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff’s on-screen chemistry in Siddharth Anand’s blockbuster hit War. Their pairing was also one of the most loved jodis of the franchise. But sadly at the end of the film, Tiger’s character was killed off thanks to a big twist. However, as Shah Rukh Khan aka Pathaan always says, ‘picture abhi baaki hai mere dost’. A few days back we reported that Hrithik is all set to return with the sequel of his film, titled War 2 . This time, he will be seen locking horns with South superstar NTR Jr .

Another exciting update that we received was that Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji will be helming War 2 instead of Siddharth. Buzz suggested that this time things are going to be bigger and better! We don’t know how one can top War, so this news left us intrigued. Well, the latest report shared by TOI has now given an update about the female leads in the film. In War, Vaani Kapoor won us over with her dance moves and chemistry with Hrithik. This time, Bollywood’s reigning queen Alia Bhatt will be headlining the sequel.

This will mark Alia’s reunion with her RRR co-star NTR Jr, as well as with Ayan. Well, SRK as Pathaan and Deepika Padukone as Rubai are expected to join Hrithik aka Kabir in War 2. We can only imagine the fireworks when Alia meets Deepika on the big screen! Buzz suggests that Sharvari Wagh has also been roped in to play a pivotal role in War 2. This is definitely a casting coup and we can’t wait for the official announcement! At the moment, Alia is looking forward to the release of her Hollywood debut film. Titled Heart of Stone, the spy action thriller also stars Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan.
