Adios Amigos release date: Here’s when you can watch Suraj Venjaramoodu and Asif Ali’s film in theatres

The wait is over! The highly anticipated collaborative project between Suraj Venjaramoodu and Asif Ali, Adios Amigos, has locked in its release date. The makers of the film announced on their social media handles that the upcoming comedy-drama is set to hit the big screens on August 2, 2024.

The makers also shared an interesting poster of the actor duo in fun and quirky avatars. While Suraj doesn't appear to have undergone a major makeover, Asif Ali, on the other hand, is seen with a slightly chubby physique, a receding hairline, and a French beard, something he is experimenting with for the first time. The poster also shows the duo, looking enormous in size, sitting on top of a KURTC bus en route to Thiruvananthapuram, hinting that the film is set against the backdrop of Kerala’s capital city.

About Adios Amigos

Helmed by debutant Nahas Nazar and scripted by Kettyolaanu Ente Malakha-fame Thankam, the upcoming comedy drama is set to be a travel adventure comedy film with Shine Tom Chacko, Ganapathi, Althaf Salim, Jinu Joseph, Salim Hassan, Bheeshma Parvam-fame Anagha, Muthumani, and Riaa Saira playing pivotol roles.

The movie is bankrolled by Ashiq Usman and features cinematography by Jimshi Khalid, editing by Nishadh Yusuf, and music composed by Gopi Sunder. The comedy film has garnered huge excitement among fans for Asif's slightly chubby look with a receding hairline and a French beard, a look the actor has not been seen in before.

Apart from Adios Amigos, the actor will be next seen in films including Abhyanthara Kuttavali, Tiki Taka and Level Cross. On the other hand, Suraj is gearing up for the release of his film Grrr, starring Kunchacko Boban and himself in the lead. He will also be starring in upcoming projects such as the Biju Menon-starrer Nadanna Sambhavam and the Dileep-starrer Professor Dinkan 3D. Suraj will also be making his OTT debut with the upcoming web series titled Nagendran's Honeymoons.
