Thala Ajith completes 32 years in the film industry and his fans have been celebrating this glorious milestone with numerous posts and tributes on social media. Ajith debuted as a lead actor in the 1993 film Amaravathi. As the film turns 32 today, Thala's fans across the globe are in a celebratory mood.

Special Vidaa Muyarchi poster for Thala Ajith

Adding to the celebrations are the makers of Ajith’s upcoming film, Vidaa Muyarchi. They are marking this special day by surprising fans with a special poster for the movie. The team took to social media to release the celebratory poster, in which they congratulated the actor on his 32-year-long journey in the industry. 

Sharing the new poster, the makers wrote, “Celebrating 32 years of Ajith Kumar! A journey forged through trials, tribulations, and triumphs. His perseverance is the ultimate symbol of enduring success!”

The new poster features a wounded Ajith in what seems to be a scene from director Magizh Thirumeni's Vidaa Muyarchi. The actor has a bloodied face and looks like he is gasping for air. The poster promises that the movie has several high-octane action sequences that are sure to excite Thala fans. 

Ajith's film industry debut

In 1993, Ajith Kumar made a successful debut as the lead star in the film Amaravathi, which was directed by Selva. Also starring Sanghavi, Ajith delivered an excellent performance in the movie, establishing himself as a leading South Indian superstar. He went on to deliver several other super hit films.

Vidaa Muyarchi gears up for Diwali 2024 release

Meanwhile, the Tamil superstar’s upcoming film, Vidaa Muyarchi, is gearing up to hit the big screens during Diwali. Although a minor portion of the film is yet to be completed, the makers have begun post-production work and are expected to make key announcements about the film’s release very soon.

As reported earlier, Ajith's road adventure thriller is an official remake of the 1997 cult classic Hollywood film Breakdown. According to the actor’s manager, Suresh Chandra, Thala Ajith is set to play the role of a devoted husband who embarks on a mission to save his wife, who is allegedly kidnapped during their road trip in Azerbaijan. 

Besides the lead cast, the film also stars Arjun Sarja, Regina Cassandra, and Arav in key roles. Anirudh Ravichander has composed the songs and original score for the movie, while Nirav Shah is the cinematographer. The movie’s OTT rights have been acquired by Netflix.
