There are many terms with which one can associate the Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan with. Terms like ‘superstar’, ‘actor par excellence’, ‘born dancer’, ‘flawless performer’ …. The list is practically endless. But, what is endearing to know and see is that, besides this self-made superstar lies a man who believes in hard work, dedication and sincerity.
A ‘glimpse’ of the same was shared by Hrithik Roshan himself on social media today. The Kaho Na Pyaar Hai actor took to social media and shared the ‘notes’ that he had made during the shooting of his first film… his debut film Kaho Na Pyaar Hai, a film that catapulted him into the league of extraordinary performers.
On his part, Hrithik Roshan posted, ‘My notes from 27 years ago. Prepping as an ACTOR for my first movie Kaho Na Pyaar Hai. I remember how nervous I was. Still am when starting a movie. I’d be embarrassed sharing these, but after 25 years of being in the industry I guess I can handle it’.
He continued, ‘Then to now, what’s changed? I see these pages and realise - absolutely nothing. Good thing ? Bad thing ? It’s just how it is. Only process remains. So much to be thankful for. So much to be grateful for. So much left to do’.
He summed it up stating, ‘It’s the 25th anniversary of Kaho Na Pyaar Hai. And the ONLY thing I want to celebrate are these scribbles in my rough book. Only thing I am relieved about is the proof of resilience. The first page says “one day“ at the bottom. No such day happened, it never came. Or maybe it did but I missed it cause I was in prep.’.
Readers may recall that, Hrithik Roshan’s debut film Kaho Na Pyaar Hai, which was released on 14 January 2000, completes a wholesome 25 years today! The film which starred Hrithik Roshan and Ameesha Patel (as the leading pair), also saw the presence of veteran actors like Anupam Kher, Dalip Tahil and Mohnish Bahl in all important roles.
While the film was directed by Rakesh Roshan, the film’s music was composed by Rajesh Roshan. The film, till date, remains one of the all time blockbusters of the silver screen.
