The Malayalam web series space is brimming with intriguing projects. Three new series, spanning different genres, offer a range of viewing experiences, from a moody investigative thriller to feel-good drama, catering to diverse emotions.

1000 Babies:

If you're in the mood for a moody thriller, 1000 Babies might just be the perfect pick. Directed by Arouz Irfan and Najeem Koya, this series follows a tense whodunnit investigation. Rahman plays C.I. Aji Kurian, a cop grappling with psychological challenges as he hunts for a seemingly elusive suspect. With little evidence to go on, the case takes a heavy toll on him. Directed by Sanil Kalathil, this four-episode series is available on Mazhavil Manorama.

Jai Mahendran:

Suhasini Maniratnam also stars in Jai Mahendran, another noteworthy addition to the Malayalam web series evolution. Headlined by Saiju Kurup, this political satire offers a biting critique of government inefficiency. The series, also featuring Miya George, Suresh Krishna, and Jeo Baby, is streaming on SonyLIV.

Level Cross:

For those seeking a gripping thriller, Level Cross is a must-watch. Written and directed by debutant Arfaz Ayub, the film promises a hard-hitting cinematic experience. The story revolves around a few characters, with Asif Ali's Raghu and Amala Paul's Chaithali at the centre. The film delves into the psychological struggles of a lonely gatekeeper stationed at a remote railway station.
