'Ye khaali insaan hai kaun': Urfi Javed reacts to reports of being boycotted in Mumbai Kabristan

Urfi Javed not only hit headlines for her outrageous clothing but also for her bold statements. The actress has faced several trolling and even police complaints for her unusual sartorial choices. Despite it, she continues to amaze her fans and netizens with her photos, videos, and public appearances in her bold fashion avatars. Recently, the actress commented on a report which said that she is being boycotted from Mumbai Kabristan because of hurting Muslim sentiments.

A video shared by Instant Bollywood shows Urfi dressed in a blue coordinated top and short skirt wherein she reacted to the report. According to the report, a Muslim man has issued a letter to every Kabristan in Mumbai urging that Urfi shouldn’t be allowed to be buried. Reacting to such a boycott from the Muslim community, Urfi asked who is this idle man. “Itna khaali hai ki har jagah jaa jaa ke, he is very attention hungry. He is wanting publicity.” Further, when she was told that the man is trying to save the Muslim community because Urfi is a Muslim name, she said, “Urfi naam Muslim name, tum kaun hote hai naam decide karne wale.”(Who are you to decide whether Urfi is Muslim name or not) Watch the video here:

Recently, Urfi attended Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla’s fashion event Mera Noor Hai Mashoor in a red outfit with dramatic headgear. She made headlines when she cheered for Irrfan Khan’s fashion look but got ignored by him. For the unversed, the event was attended by prominent personalities including Jaya Bachchan, Neetu Kapoor, Shweta Bachchan, Radhika Merchant, Huma Qureshi, and Natasha Stankovic among others. Following that event, she also attended a store launch wherein she posed with actor Arjun Kapoor. Meanwhile, Urfi was last seen in a dating reality show, MTV Splitsvilla X4. She has reportedly been approached for Khatron Ke Khiladi 13.
