The buzz around Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal’s wedding is increasing by the minute. After the couple’s wedding invitation went viral, singer Yo Yo Honey Singh revealed that even though he will be shooting in London at the time, he won’t miss out on his best friend Sonakshi Sinha’s big day.

Yo Yo gives blessings to Sonakshi and Zaheer

Taking to Instagram stories, Yo Yo Honey Singh wrote, “Tho I gonna be in London shooting Glory’s first song, but I will make sure I will attend my best friend Sonakshi’s wedding as she has been a big support in my career and helped me so many times in life. Best wishes to the power couple Sona and Zaheer! Bholenath bless them.”

Former CBFC chairperson Pahlaj Nihalani also confirmed that he will be attending Sonakshi’s wedding and told Zoom in an interview, “I am Sonakshi’s mama (uncle). All my blessings go to her and Zaheer. They are finally getting married. I send them all my good wishes.”

Speaking more about the wedding and Sonakshi and Zaheer’s wedding, Pahlaj said, “Naturally, these days children take their own decisions. Finally, they are the ones who have to be together, so parents should be happy. A couple has to live the married life and that’s the main thing. They should love and be comfortable with each other.”

Shatrughan Sinha on Sonakshi’s wedding

Talking about Sonakshi's wedding, her father and actor Shatrughan Sinha told The Times Of India, “Time will tell. She will always have my blessings. Sonakshi is the apple of my eyes. She is my only daughter and is very close to me. If my daughter is getting married, I will give her my blessings and support her decision and choice. Sonakshi has the right to choose her companion, and I will be the happiest father on her wedding day. I will always wish her the best. Ek hi toh beti hai meri (I only have one daughter).”

According to reports, Sonakshi and Zaheer will tie the knot on June 23. The couple has been dating for over five years and starred together in the 2022 film Double XL.
