Popular Pakistani actor Fawad Khan made his Bollywood debut alongside actress Sonam Kapoor in Khoobsurat in 2014. Eventually, he went on to star in films like Kapoor & Sons with Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra, and Ae Dil Hai Mushki alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma. Recently, it was reported that Fawad will make his comeback in Bollywood with a project alongside Vaani Kapoor. Now, the latest development reveals that he will be seen in a movie with actress Ridhi Dogra.

Fawad Khan set to make a Bollywood comeback?

A while ago, Hindustan Times reported that Fawad will feature in a romantic comedy film alongside Ridhi. While the makers have not announced who the director of the film will be, the search for a supporting cast is still ongoing. “The paperwork was only recently completed, and the duo have been cast as romantic interests. The director’s name is still kept under wraps,” the source told the portal.

The source also added that the duo will begin shooting for the untitled project by the end of the year as the two are busy with their work commitments. The source stated, “The shoot will begin by the end of this year. The makers plan to release the film by next year’s end or the beginning of 2026.” The film is set to be shot in locations including New York and London. “The project will be shot in several locations including New York (US) and London (UK). It matches the theme of their romcom drama,” concluded the source.

Fawad and Ridhi’s work front

Fawad recently reunited with his Zindagi Gulzar Hai co-star Sanam Saeed in a web series titled Barzakh. The series showcased the tale of a family reunited to attend their father's wedding ceremony. The series was well appreciated in India and fans were quite excited to see Fawad and Sanam together again.

Ridhi, on the other hand, was seen in films like Tiger 3 and Jawan starring Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, respectively. She will feature next in The Sabarmati Report co-starring actor Vikrant Massey. The film is inspired by true events that happened in the Sabarmati Express. It also stars actress Raashii Khanna.
