Pakistani singer Chahat Fateh Ali Khan’s viral song Bado Badi has been removed from YouTube after obtaining more than 28 million views. The song Bado Badi is reported to have similar melody and composition as Noor Kehan’s 1973 Akh Larhi Bado Badi, hence the song was taken down due to copyright infringement issues.

According to reports, the song has been removed due to copyright infringement issues. The song’s melody and composition resemble Noor Jehan’s 1973 song Akh Larhi Bado Badi from the film Banarasi Thug.

The singer revealed in an interview with Fiza Riaz and Wajahat Khan for PNN that it took him a week to create, compose, record and release the song. After the song went viral, users started to share their versions, including Noor Jahan’s 1973 song.

According to Indian Express, Wajdan claimed that the song Bado Badi is ruining her career as she is being ridiculed for doing the song and is questioned why she even agreed to be included in the song. She reportedly recorded the song due to ‘desperation,’ as she didn’t have enough money to buy clothes for Eid.
Chahat Fateh Ali Khan’s early life
Chahat Fateh Ali Khan earlier used to play professional Cricket with the name Kashif Rana. As a teenager, he used to play for Lahore in first-class Cricket. The singer also participated in 1983 Quaid-E-Azam trophy before moving to United Kingdom for better opportunities. After playing professional Cricket for 12 years, he became a taxi driver. After quitting Cricket, Kashif ventured into music and started making videos in 2020. Due to the viral nature of his songs, he became a subject of online memes, and his songs became viral sensations. He has been receiving media attention since his song Bado Bado went viral online, making it one of the most used songs for making reels.
