'Why he is always snappish?': Shahid Kapoor schools paparazzi for yelling his name; netizens stand divided

Actor Shahid Kapoor recently lost his cool when paparazzi yelled his name despite him being standing close to them. The actor on Saturday stepped out with his family to attend Ruhaan Kapoor and Manukriti Pahwa’s wedding reception in the city. His wife Mira Rajput and sister Sanah Kapur also accompanied him. Ratna Pathak Shah also arrived with her husband Naseeruddin Shah to grace the event.

In the video shared online, Shahid could be seen schooling paps, while his wife Mira accompanied him.“Aise kyu chila rahe ho relax karo, yahi hai hum. Jab main gaadi me chala jaunga na phir chillana that makes sense(Why you are shouting like this, please relax. We are here only. When I will sit in the car and leave then shout because that makes sense).” Sharing the video, the official handle of Instant Bollywood wrote, “Shahid Kapoor’s fiery mood turns into a shoutout moment for the paparazzi.” Soon after, netizens flooded the comment section with mixed reactions.

While some were reminded of Shahid’s character from his film Kabir Singh, others approved of rude his behaviour with paps. “Real Kabir Singh,” said one of the fans. “Waao waaaon bata waaon waaon Kabir Singh loading,” added another fan. A netizen reacted, “Shahid is right u should relax.” Another netizen also supported Shahid and said, “Sahi kra aaj kal zyada acting karne lge ye log.” “Bilkul right ye log bhut tang karte hai celebrities ki koi privacy hi nh hai,” wrote a user.

On the other hand, a section of social media users lashed at Shahid for being rude to the paparazzi. “Another flop actor show’s attitude for nothing why give them so much importance,” reacted a user. Another commented, “Isme bhi ghamnd aaa gaya.” “Why he is always snappish?” wondered a user. “And still you guys uploading this stuff. Shame,” commented another user about the paparazzi.

Meanwhile, workwise, Shahid was last seen in Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bloody Daddy. He is set to feature in the romantic comedy-drama An Impossible Story alongside Kriti Sanon. Directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, the film is backed by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films and is set for a 2023 release.
