'Why can't he show some dedication towards a film?' : Fans have diverse reactions to Akshay Kumar's Capsule Gill first look

The makers of Akshay Kumar ’s upcoming film Capsule Gill have finally unveiled his first look from the same. The movie is touted to be a biography on the life of former chief mining engineer Jaswant Singh Gill who had shown remarkable courage and rescued 65 miners during the 1989 Raniganj coal mine tragedy. However, the superstar’s first look at the film is receiving a diverse response from fans.

Talking about the same, Akshay Kumar as Jaswant Singh Gill can be seen wearing a crisp blue shirt along with a maroon-colored turban. The actor has furthermore opted for spectacles along with the look while sporting a heavy beard. Akshay can be seen standing amidst a field-like area in the still from the movie. Take a glimpse at his first look.

However, while some fans seemed to be impressed with Akshay Kumar’s first look from Capsule Gill, other fans weren’t that enamored with the same. One fan stated, “Why can’t he show some dedication towards the movie?? Almost all heroes grow beards for movies and he always comes up with an artificial one. Another user mentioned, “Bas Kar. TBH Vry bad look.” However, some fans also gave some validating response to the look wherein one netizen said, “Another national award performance of Akshay Kumar” and another fan said, “He looks amazing, hope this time Akshay doesn't disappoint us.”

The movie is reportedly not titled yet and has been helmed by Tinu Suresh Desai. The movie will also star Parineeti Chopra alongside Akshay Kumar. It will be bankrolled by Vashu Bhagnani’s Pooja Entertainment .
